General
Basic workspace identity and defaults that new members inherit.
Go to Settings → Workspace → General. You'll need workspace management permissions to make changes.
Settings
| Setting | What It Does |

| Workspace Name | Display name shown in the app and on outbound communications. |
| Slug | URL-friendly identifier (max 64 chars). Used in workspace URLs and API paths — changing it can break existing links and integrations. |
| Language | Default locale for new members who haven't picked their own. |
| Timezone | Default timezone for new members. Drives scheduling, business hours, and event timestamps for accounts that haven't set a personal timezone. |
| Signup Code | Optional code new members must enter to self-serve sign up. Leave empty to disable code-gated signup. |
| Public Workspace | When on, the workspace can appear in public directories and anyone can request to join. Default off. |
| Default Assistant | Workspace-level assistant fallback for features that do not use a Workflow revision. Workflow assistant settings are versioned on the Workflow itself. |
Tips
- Pick the slug carefully. Slug changes propagate into share links, embedded sites, and API paths. Treat it as semi-permanent.
- Set timezone and language before inviting members. New members who don't customise their account inherit the workspace defaults.
- Use signup code + Public together. A public workspace with a signup code is discoverable but gated; a private workspace ignores the code (admins invite directly).
